Sometimes working as muralist, sometimes as visual artist, some others as video-maker, Jean Philippe Illanes uses all the medias to express his ideas and his feelings as well as the evidences of his past life.
Eclectic artist, he introduces into his works pop culture roots as well as a playful dimension of art, where the main principle of his artistic research aims to free the shape from the content.

For his first exhibition in Belgium, the artist intends to share his childhood memories.
